Every year, the expert jury of CIO Business World awards case studies in several categories. We participated in the competition with the case study "Deployment of the first gastro robot in the Czech Republic" for Restaurant Silvie and earned an award for technological benefits.
The company K Group Orlová s.r.o. has been doing business in the field of gastronomy for a long time. Its network of companies also includes the Silvie restaurant, which participated in the CIO BW Case Study 2021 competition. The company is open to modern technologies and innovations. That is why they also accepted BellaBot's robotic staff into the restaurant. For great success, they entered the CIO BW Case Study 2021 competition.
The case study describes a difficult period for the gastronomy industry and solving the problem of staff shortages due to robotic operation. Finding enough staff in the restaurant is almost impossible and even with part-time workers, it was not easy for the restaurant. At the same time, the goal of BellaBot is not to replace the staff, but only to supplement the forces during normal operation and to make work easier for employees. The robot took over the team and became an unprecedented attraction for the guests.
